George Miller

George Miller Ramos

(Morón, Ciego de Ávila, 1976). Architect graduate in 1998 at the Superior Polytechnic Institute José Antonio Echeverría. He has developed dissimilar projects of different scales and complexities in Europe, Middle East and America. At present, he is Leader of the Product Design Area and Senior Associate at Gensler, an important architecture firm.


Why did you choose to major in architecture?

Actually, it was not a choice. During my personal education, mainly when I was 12 or 13 years old, it was evident for me that I was to study architecture. My fascination for drawing, the importance of have an aunt who is architect and the support of my parents was all I needed to reach that conclusion.



Yasser Fonseca

Yasser Fonseca Valdés

(Havana, 1979). Graphic designer graduated at the ISDi in 2014. He has been working in design areas like editorial, audiovisual and multimedia. Editorial design of the Diseñador editorial of Amano, a magazine for the promotion of applied arts in Cuba.

Arístides and Agustín

Arístides Rosell Cabrera

(Havana, 1967). Informational designer graduate at the Superior Institute of Design in 1991.

Agustín García Caballero

(Valencia, Spain, 1978). Graduate at the Design Superior School of Valencia in the specialty of Graphic Design.

Both designers create in the city of Valencia a graphic design studio entitled Signo Visual. This studio has helped to strengthen communicative spaces in the field of the Valencian community. Its posters have been exhibited in countries like Mexico, Bolivia and Cuba. Its works have a focus on social commitment to art and culture.



Gabriel, Karen y Jorge

Gabriel Leal Rivera

(Havana, 1982). Industrial designer, graduated at ISDi in 2006. He has been working in fields like interior and furniture design, and products development. He has worked with THID and Spaces group. He is freelance designer since 2010.

Karen Rivero Torres

(Ciego de Ávila, 1979). Freelance illustrator and designer graduated in 2002 at the ISDi in the major of Costume. She has worked in the area of graphic arts with clients like Colibrí Records, Cubaplus Magazine, Havana Channel, and the magazine Contemporary Cuba. In 2013, she enters the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and the Creator Register.
